About RSRs:

  • RSR sessions are for riders aiming to compete next season in high level races such as National series and Regional championships and then aiming to compete internationally.

  • RSRs are not selection sessions for any Great Britain Cycling Team programmes or teams, we have races to see who’s the best. However, rider’s attitude and approach to training and learning skills, and how they contribute to the sessions will be noted by the coaches.

  • RSR sessions are full days with around 4-5 hours of on-bike time, as well as workshops and off-bike exercises and although the sessions are physically and technically challenging, the primary focus is on learning during each session.

  • Our philosophy at Talent Development is to develop the person as well as the athlete, alongside developing the necessary on-bike physical, technical & tactical competencies to maximise their journey through the sport we design our sessions to install important behaviours including rider ownership, planning, organisation, goal setting, coping with pressure, independence and communication.

  • RSR Sessions will cost £10 each, which is heavily subsidised by British Cycling. Essential Criteria
