South Region Interclub Champs: Sun 25 April, Hayes

It’s time to get back on track, starting with the South Region Interclub Champs, rescheduled from last November.

The top five riders in each category from each of the two Interclub races held last October will progress to the South Interclub Champs. This is not your regular South Champs, but it is the chance for riders who have supported their clubs and qualified to race against the best of the best in the South Region - the first race at this level anywhere in the UK in over a year!

This event will be run by the South Team and Hayes Hawks in line with British Cycling, national government and local authority guidance.

Registration is via the BC online system. Qualifying riders will be contacted by their clubs with details of how to register.

Important – please note:

  • This event will be run using transponders – please check/renew your subscription

  • Riders without transponders will be able to hire one of the South Region spares for £5, but MUST contact admin asap at [email protected]

  • Registration closes for the event on Thursday 22 April at 11:55pm

  • Absolutely no on-the-day registrations, no exceptions

  • Anyone testing positive prior to the event must not attend – entry fee(s) will be refunded

  • Only one parent/carer allowed per rider – no spectators, no exception

  • Non-racing adults will be required to sign in via track & trace on arrival

  • Everyone on site is responsible for maintaining social distancing

  • Clubs will be allocated a space and are responsible for their riders between races

  • Each club must nominate a club rep for the day who will be the main point of contact

  • Parents/carers are kindly asked to wear face coverings at registration/queuing

  • Please follow Government guidance and host club requirements at all times

Anyone not complying will be asked to leave - riders will be removed from racing. Any individual not following these simple requests is putting future events at risk. It’s a long list but it’s really important everyone cooperates so that this event is a success and future events are not impacted.

If you have any questions, please contact your club rep in the first instance... meanwhile have fun, stay safe and wash your hands.

Please remember to check your transponders/renew subscriptions as required.
